Jolly Beach Resort and Spa, Antigua
Jolly Beach Resort & Spa is located in the Bolans area in Antigua. This aged resort is not to be under-estimated. A three star resort with no frills but packed with happy staff, clean rooms, nightly entertainment, great food all on the best beach in Antigua the Jolly Beach. This all-inclusive resort is great for any traveler – couples, families, singles or business groups. The Jolly Beach resort sits on 40 acres which are beautifully manicured and sit right on the mile-long stretch of Jolly Beach.
A quick 20 minute drive from Antigua’s VC Bird International Airport, you will arrived in the gated resort and be greeted by the hotel’s management. The team at reception will be all-too happy to check you into your room so you can start your vacation. There are six different types of rooms to choose from.
Supersaver – smallest room, well organized includes a double bed or two twins, shower, patio/balcony, air conditioning, hair dryer, satellite TV and a direct dial telephone. The room is offered at a great value pricing throughout the year.
Standard – a bit larger than the supersaver room well organized includes a King bed or two twins, shower, patio/balcony, air conditioning, hair dryer, satellite TV and a direct dial telephone.
Queen Superior – this deluxe suite includes two queen beds, shower with bathtub, patio/balcony, air conditioning, a coffee maker, iron and board, mini-refrigerator, hairdryer, satellite TV and direct dial telephone.
King Superior and Junior Suite- Perfect for honeymooners, or couples staying for a long vacation, this room includes a king sized bed, shower with bathtub, small sitting area, patio/balcony, air conditioning, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, mini-refrigerator, hairdryer, satellite TV and direct dial telephone.
Beach Front Cottage – Enjoy a small cottage directly on the Jolly Beach. Enjoy the view of the turquoise crystal clear waters from your private balcony. The cottage includes 2 bedrooms one with a king-sized bed and the other with two twin beds perfect for families. The cottages also have a shower, living room, flat screen TV, private verandah, air conditioning, coffeemaker, refrigerator, hair dryer and direct dial telephone.
Most of the rooms at the resort face the beach. The all-inclusive package include Hobi cats, sunfish sailboats, snorkel equipment, kayaks and paddle boats. Other amenities include four tennis courts, two swimming pools, a fully equipped gym, games room with ping pong tables and a pool table. The resorts entertainment staff are always on hand organizing day and evening activities which suit all guests. This includes a kids program for children with a full schedule of indoor and outdoor activities tailored specifically for them.
All the resort meals are also included in the package.There are plenty of dining options to choose from in the five restaurants on the resort. Hemispheres open breakfast, lunch and dinner is a casual buffet with indoor and outdoor seating. It is well stocked with fresh cut fruit, salad bar, bread bar and plenty of options for each meal. Lydia’s seafood restaurant, Bocciolo an elegant Italian restaurant and Utsav a fantastic Indian restaurant offer a fine dining experience with their a la carte menus. On the beach you can grab some Jerk chicken or a tasty burger from the Coconut Grill which serves lunch and afternoon snacks daily. In addition you can partake in afternoon tea each day at 4PM.
Of course all beverages are included in the package and the bartenders are always willing to whip up some exotic Antiguan cocktails for you. The Hemisphere’s bar is open all day and offers nightly music and entertainment. The beach bar is open daily and you can also enjoy cocktails at the swim up pool bar.
